Godfrey Street 2: roof terrace approved first time, Chelsea
A neighbour saw the approval we won for Godfrey Street 1 and asked us to do the same for their house. This time, planning permission came at the first attempt.

The approach
We followed the same approach as for Godfrey Street 1, setting the balustrade on the Godfrey Street side back from the parapet edge so the terrace can’t be seen from the pavement.

Our design and access statement cited both the earlier approval and the appeal decision behind it, and permission was granted first time.
